The Wallace and Gromit exhibition has sent visitor numbers rocketing at Spaceport.
Over 10,000 visitors during the Easter holiday period provided the best Easter figures since Spaceport opened five years ago at the Seacombe Ferry Terminal.
Neil Scales, Chief Executive of Merseytravel, which owns and operates the Mersey Ferries, said: “This is tremendous news, particularly as the exhibition is proving popular with visitors of all ages.
“We’ve also had excellent reports from school groups that have visited.
“Wallace and Gromit are making a valuable contribution to Merseytravel’s tourism business which last year contributed more than £34 million to the region’s economy.”
Spaceport is open throughout the May Bank Holiday weekend - visit spaceport.org.uk for details or call 0151 330 1566
