Merseytravel’s £10 million space themed attraction, Spaceport, has won two major tourism awards in it`s first year. Spaceport, which is based at Seacombe Ferry Terminal, was voted the top tourism and leisure venture in the North West by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and received the ‘Tourism for All’ award at the Merseyside Tourism Awards 2006.
